About this work:
My favorite color is the blue of the sky in October in Tennessee. It is an intense, electric blue that is created in part through color theory: as the leaves turn, the reds, oranges, and yellows vibrate against the blue in the sky making it seem even more intense. In this work I attempted to capture that color and the experience of seeing it.

This work varies in height, width, depth, and pitch. Maximum dimensions (HxWxD): 38x58x5”.
Created on a dimensional panel of my own design and construction, using wood which is prized for its dimensional stability.
Only professional-quality acrylic paints with excellent lightfastness ratings were used in the creation of this work.
The work has been varnished to help to protect it rom UV rays and other damage.
Signed, titled, and dated on the back.
Wired on the back for hanging.
I have adhered shallow bumper pads to the back of the work to raise it off the wall slightly, for the sake of both your wall and the work itself.

Shipping to the contiguous US (US-48) is included in the price of the work. Flat rate shipping is available to Alaska and Hawaii.
I also offer personal delivery and installation of the work, depending on your location and proximity to Knoxville, TN. I will contact you after you purchase the work to make arrangements.
