Inspired by one of Saturn's moons, "Enceladus" is a dramatic sculptural painting that speaks of fire and ice. It is composed of warm, red-orange sculptural brass ascending in a twisting motion from cold, textured white acrylic paint, symbolic of the hot water vapor sprayed from geysers on the moon which freezes past the surface, blanketing the moon with ice, and forming one of Saturn's rings.
